No data collection

Ambiary works without an account or internet connection. It has no advertising, analytics, tracking, telemetry, or remote services. The app does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Data stored on your device

The app stores favourite mixes, colour choices, settings, onboarding status, imported audio, and microphone recordings locally on your device. The app itself never sends this information anywhere. Your device operating system may include local app data in a device backup according to your device and account settings. Dominik Witka does not receive or have access to those backups.

Microphone and imported audio

Ambience asks for microphone access only when you choose to record a sound. You can also choose an audio file using your device file picker. Recordings and imported files are copied into the app storage on your device and are not transmitted to Dominik Witka or another service.

Included audio

The built in sound library is included with the app. Ambiary does not stream audio or contact a remote audio service.

Sleep and health data

Ambiary provides sounds and timers that can support rest and sleep. It does not measure or track sleep, collect health data, provide a diagnosis, or offer medical treatment.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app removes its locally stored information according to the normal behaviour of your device platform.

Changes to this policy

If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the relevant app store disclosures will be updated before that version is released.
